Londonderry vt Wedding
Londonderry is a town in Windham County, Vermont, United States. The population was 1,709 at the 2000 census. Londonderry also includes the village of South Londonderry. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 92.9 km (35.9 mi). 92.4 km (35.7 mi) of it is land and 0.5 km (0.2 mi) of it (0.59%) is water. The West River flows through the town.[1] As of the census2 of 2000, there were 1,709 people, 730 households, and 470 families residing in the town. The population density was 18.5/km (47.9/mi). There were 1,317 housing units at an average density of 14.3/km (36.9/mi). The racial makeup of the town was 98.60% White, 0.12% African American, 0.23% Native American, 0.47% Asian, and 0.59% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.47% of the population.
There were 730 households out of which 27.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 53.3% were married couples living together, 8.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 35.5% were non-families. 25.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 10.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.34 and the average family size was 2.84.
